Working in the Wyre Customer & Network Operations Team
The Wyre Operations Team is responsible for the qualitative delivery of all service requirements of our Wholesale customers through a wide range of partners.
As a team, we manage all end-to-end operational customer and network processes, from the installation of drop cables to the maintenance and repair of the entire coaxial and fiber network.
We scale up our FTTH activities while closely monitoring our partner performance and customer appreciation.
Through extensive partnerships, we aim to bring the interest of both customer and shareholder into maximal alignment.
Your Role as Director of Fulfilment (internal job title)
As Director of the Customer Fulfillment team you oversee the Wholesale Customer Installation activity and you report into the Head of Operations.
1. You carry end-to-end business ownership over the Customer Installation activity, and thus you are accountable for the day-to-day execution of all Wholesale Customer Installations, both on fiber and coaxial network.
2. You establish the strategic framework for your department in line with Wyre’s business strategy and ensure its proper implementation.
3. You create an operating model supported by a partnership framework that matches Wyre’s ambitions in terms of lead time, quality and cost. You champion the end-customer journey, and you optimize end-customer experience.
4. You aim to accelerate our FTTH learning curve. Together with your team, you explore & evaluate different (disruptive) scenarios, you identify priorities and formulate an action plan.
5. You and your team work closely together with internal & external stakeholders.
6. You collaborate closely with Customer Service Managers, who represent the voice of the customer in every internal operational alignment.
7. You represent Wyre Service Delivery in executive customer-facing meetings, if considered necessary.
8. You work closely with the FTTH Roll-Out team to monitor and improve the quality of the built FTTH network.
9. You discuss the quality performance of your team and partners with the Assurance team.
10. You drive change and initiate improvement initiatives in short, mid & long term in close collaboration with the Transformation team, building upon a fit-for-purpose data and application framework.
11. In close cooperation with stakeholders within the Liberty Global Group, you monitor and manage your installation unit cost (CPPC) in order to achieve short-term and long-term budget goals.
12. Your team members are responsible for steering all installation partners.
13. You manage, lead and coach employees in & outside your team. You take all necessary steps to ensure the development & deployment of their competences, knowledge & skills in the short & long term.
14. You are responsible for creating a diverse team that is well placed to manage the challenges of the Customer Installation activity on operational, tactical & strategic level.
Our ideal Director FTTH Customer Installations
15. Has at least 7-10 years of proven experience in a similar role, servicing multinationals and leading a team.
16. Has a real passion and dedication for operations.
17. Ideally has experience in the ICT/telecom sector, more importantly they understand the telecom market and general business operations in a complex, evolving environment.
18. Can bridge the gap between network and service, requiring technical insight.
19. Is customer oriented, analytical, strongly communicative and has project management skills.
20. Has strong financial & reporting skills.
21. Holds a master’s degree, preferably in Telecommunications, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. However, relevant experience and strong industry insights are equally valued.
