Job Summary
Kriete Leasing & Rental is seeking a Truck Rental Consultant (TRC) at our Green Bay location. This role is a crucial link in keeping our leasing and rental customers happy. When they need equipment, it’s often urgent, and the TRC is crucial in making sure those needs are met quickly, professionally, and with the highest level of "white glove" service. In this role, you’ll support the Leasing & Rental Sales team by handling equipment rentals, coordinating fleet activities, and ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate. You’ll be the main point of contact for customers, providing dependable front‑line support while also assisting with fleet operations such as maintenance, repairs, and service coordination. This role offers a competitive wage plus a commission plan based on new customers, service contracts, and other metrics.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete daily truck rental reservations, including all check‑in, check‑out, and follow‑ups with customers.
* Provide exceptional customer service by responding with urgency and professionalism to meet customer needs.
* Maintain strong relationships with existing customers through visits, phone calls, and routine reviews.
* Prospect for new rental customers through in‑person visits, cold calling, follow‑up on marketing efforts, and other outreach.
* Coordinate with the fleet management team to arrange substitute vehicles and outside rentals when needed.
* Perform daily on‑site audits, ensuring “ready” vehicles, accurate yard checks, and organized yard management.
* Secure approvals for rental equipment and manage the return process.
* Ensure contract compliance with attention to detail.
* Perform vehicle prep, cleaning, and accessory equipment checks during check‑in/check‑out.
Qualifications & Skills
* Strong customer service mindset with the ability to respond quickly and effectively.
* Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Self‑motivated, able to work independently while contributing to team goals.
* Willingness to learn and grow both personally and professionally.
* Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Comfortable learning and using fleet and operations software systems.
* Ability to work outdoors as needed and safely enter/exit various classes of CMVs.
* Physical ability to operate and inspect vehicles and equipment.
Education & Work Experience
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Previous direct selling or customer‑facing experience preferred.
* Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a plus but not required.
