Apply for the Data Center EPCm Manager role. This position is on a full‑time basis within our EPCM Buildings unit.
Location: Mechelen or Nivelles (Belgium) or Madrid (Spain). You will dedicate at least 50 % of your time to Belgium. Travel flexibility is required.
About the role
As a Data Center Manager, you will actively manage projects ranging from small security upgrades to full EPCM data center renovations, commissioning audits and complete complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead all engineering phases from design to commissioning, ensuring successful project delivery.
* Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver engineering packages on time and within budget.
* Review and approve technical documentation, maintaining high quality standards.
* Manage vendor evaluations and procurement processes.
* Provide on‑site technical support during construction and commissioning.
* Prepare progress reports, risk assessments and manage change documentation.
* Build and mentor a skilled engineering team.
Requirements
* Master’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, electrical or mechanical engineering.
* 10 years of relevant industrial project experience, 5–7 years in data centers, hospitals, military or complex industrial projects.
* Strong interest in data center sustainability and cooling facilities; knowledge of resilient power and electronics.
* Very good knowledge of English and French; Spanish is an asset.
* Experience with European projects and knowledge of standards and certificates.
* Excellent independent work, strong teamwork and communication skills.
* Flexibility, proactivity and ownership with business development orientation.
* Project management tools expertise (MS Project, Navisworks, BIM 360). Design tools & MEP software is a nice asset.
* Driver’s license B.
