**Powerplant Engineer Role**
We are seeking a skilled Powerplant Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technical department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continuing airworthiness and operational reliability of aircraft engines and auxiliary power units (APUs).
Key Responsibilities
* Technical Support for Airworthiness: Support the Technical Management team in meeting Continuing Airworthiness requirements, with a focus on engines and APUs.
* Airworthiness Data Analysis: Review and assess incoming engine-related airworthiness data, evaluate applicability, and prepare related engineering orders, task cards, and material requirements.
* Powerplant Modifications & Documentation Management: Investigate and propose engine and APU modifications, manage engineering documentation, and maintain accurate records of engine-related modifications and ADs.
* Technical Investigations: Conduct root cause analyses and technical investigations for incidents involving powerplant systems or maintenance-related issues.
* Engine Monitoring and Reliability: Monitor Engine Condition Trend Monitoring (ECTM) and borescope inspection (BSI) data, issue monthly health and reliability reports, forecast engine removal plans based on ECTM data, and track and manage Life-Limited Parts (LLPs).
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
* Previous experience in a CAMO environment or a similar powerplant engineering role
* Familiarity with Continuing Airworthiness regulations and solid understanding of EASA Part M and FAA standards
* Strong technical knowledge of powerplant systems, including turbofan and turboprop engines, as well as engine condition monitoring tools
* Excellent organisational and documentation management skills
