The Job Description:
* Process accurate and timely payroll for approximately 500 employees in Belgium, including all payments, deductions, and statutory obligations.
* Reconcile payroll data and review provider output to ensure correct processing of starters, leavers, absences, and variable inputs.
* Manage payroll-related queries through our People Portal, ensuring timely and value-aligned responses.
* Collaborate with Finance and other stakeholders to provide accurate payroll reports and GL outputs.
* Support compliance by staying updated on payroll legislation and contributing to continuous improvement of payroll systems and processes.
* Assist with benefits administration, provider communications, and maintaining internal payroll and benefits documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven payroll experience in a fast-paced environment, with deep knowledge of Belgian payroll legislation.
* Strong technical skills, including advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and high PC literacy.
* Proven ability to accurately process, balance, and reconcile payrolls with a strong focus on data accuracy and attention to detail.
* Solid analytical, numeracy, and decision-making skills, paired with strong time management and organisational capabilities.
* Experience working with payroll providers, managing compliance, and delivering high-quality service to internal stakeholders.
