About Abbott Structural Heart
The Structural Heart division at Abbott is dedicated to transforming the treatment of structural heart diseases through innovative, minimally invasive technologies. Our mission is to restore health and improve quality of life for patients with heart valve disorders and other structural heart conditions. We work closely with physicians, hospitals, and healthcare systems to deliver life-changing solutions that advance patient care.
As Cash Flow Manager for the Structural Heart division in Europe, Middle East, and Africa, you will lead planning, execution, and reporting activities related to cash flow. You will be the primary contact for monthly reporting, financial planning, and corporate analysis, ensuring alignment with Abbott’s financial goals and compliance standards.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Lead cash flow planning, forecasting, and reporting for the Structural Heart division across the region.
2. Define annual cash flow strategies and ensure alignment across business units, regional teams, and country affiliates.
3. Ensure compliance with international and local accounting standards and Abbott’s internal policies.
4. Develop and implement forecasting methods for the balance sheet, tailored to country-specific drivers.
5. Monitor and improve accounts receivable performance, including payment term reviews and financial tool implementation.
6. Support sales and operations planning by identifying risks, surfacing opportunities, and resolving bottlenecks.
7. Review inventory levels with the distribution center, propose adjustments, and track performance targets.
8. Conduct regular balance sheet reviews with regional teams and consolidate insights for leadership.
9. Track and present capital expenditure projects to the Structural Heart Capital Committee.
10. Lead cross-functional initiatives with commercial, operations, finance, and customer financial services teams.
Your Profile
11. Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master of Business Administration is a plus.
12. At least 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis within a multinational environment.
13. Strong analytical mindset with a proven ability to manage finance processes and deliver results.
14. Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
15. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; experience with Cognos, SAP, Hyperion, and Dodeca is a plus.
16. Strong collaboration and communication skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
17. Experience working cross-functionally with commercial, operations, and finance teams.
18. Ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
19. Experience in capital expenditure tracking and reporting is an advantage.
20. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
