The Finance Manager reports to the CFO and is part of the Finance & Accounting Department.
He/She is responsible for setting up and monitoring the company's financial management tools, ensuring budget compliance, and improving the efficiency of financial processes. He/She supports management in strategic decision-making through the analysis of financial and operational data.

The Finance Manager reports to the CFO and is part of the Finance & Accounting Department.
He/She collaborates with the Accountant and the Project Controller to ensure the efficiency of financial and budgetary processes within the company.
He/She maintains regular relationships with auditors.
- Main Responsibilities :
The Finance Manager oversees all aspects of the company's financial management:
* Company accounting and the preparation of accounting books and reports
* Management control: project profitability analysis and overhead expense control
* Cash management, financing, and control of banking operations
* Budget management, monitoring, and reporting of actuals vs. budget
* Proactive support to Sales, Operations, HR, Procurement, and Management through high-quality financial analysis
A proactive action plan has been developed to support the company's upcoming strong growth, with the following priorities :
1. Digitalization & Odoo Integration
*
o Process automation
o Budgeting, reporting, and e-invoicing integrated into Odoo (+ audit)
2. Cash Management & Forecasting
*
o Rolling Cash Forecast, best/worst scenarios, BE+US
o Anticipate cash needs and structure financial flows
3. Closing & Reporting
*
o Monthly close (checklists and schedule)
o Monthly review of B/S, WIP/POC under governance
o Intercompany and pre-consolidation tools
o Automated financial reporting and P&L by project/product/country in Odoo
o Shorten closing timelines and strengthen reporting reliability
4. Procure-to-Pay Optimization
*
o Automation in Odoo (Peppol, etc.)
o Expense dashboards, DPO, receipts and due dates, variance tracking
o Implementation of a structured supplier evaluation policy and strategy
5. Budget Management and Accountability
*
o Structure budget processes and responsibilities
6. Order-to-Cash & Margin Optimization
*
o Standardization of the invoicing cycle
7. Compliance & Internal Control To reduce fiscal and accounting risks by reinforcing compliance:
*
o Closing, fiscal, RACI, and quarterly audit pack calendar
o Specific accounting policies (subsidies, WIP/POC, capitalized production)
o Cleanup of backlog periods
o Four-eyes principle and structured accounting master data framework
Required Skills :
* Strong accounting knowledge (particularly project-based and R&D accounting) and financial expertise (including banking products and insurance)
* Flexibility, rigor, analytical and logical thinking
* Autonomy and solution-oriented mindset
* Proactivity, initiative, and ability to defend viewpoints (e.g., at Executive Committee)
* Team spirit
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent synthesis skills to identify key insights for management
* Proficiency in MS Office
* Languages: French / English
Profile :
* Master's degree (in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent)
* Approx. 10 years of experience in accounting and management control, preferably in an audit firm or construction sector
* Excellent command of MS Office; knowledge of Odoo is an asset
* Good operational command (spoken and written) of English
* Strong analytical skills
* Rigorous and able to work calmly under tight deadlines

* Critical thinking and thoroughness
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
