JOB SUMMARY
Your mission will be to take the position as Maintenance & Quality Control Engineer for our seed preparation, solvent extraction, oil refining and fat modification product lines.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Inspect process installation and its component to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
* Perform troubleshooting to solve minor repair issues.
* Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities with client and subcontractors
* Perform inspection and quality control of equipment in our supplier’s and sub-contractor’s workshops within the European Area and Turkey.
* Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards and regulations.
* Document and maintain records of inspections, maintenance activity, repairs, and other work done.
* Report to the Quality Control & Site Services Manager and maintain close contact with Customer Service Department.
REQUIRED PROFILE
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
* Thorough comprehension of industrial drawings.
* Must have skills and experience in the use of control instruments.
* Good communication and ability to work in autonomy with excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills
* Have an analytical and structured approach
* Proactive with the ability to learn quickly and bring creative solutions to problems
* Affinity to work autonomously with good organizational skills.
* Fluent knowledge of English and any other language. Knowledge of French is a strong asset.
* Willingness to travel frequently in- and outside Europe
Preferred Education/Experience
* Technical Engineering degree (Mechanical, Industrial) and/or can demonstrate at least five years’ field experience in an industrial facilities environment involving assembling, controlling and erection of industrial machineries.
* A good knowledge of welding process is an asset.
