HARDWARE MANAGER - BRUSSELS (BELGIUM) - PERMANENT POSITION
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Hardware Manager who will lead a hardware engineering team in Brussels. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the full lifecycle of hardware development, from initial design and prototyping to production and deployment.
You will ensure that hardware solutions are innovative, reliable, and aligned with the company's strategic goals. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership and project management skills, guiding the team to deliver high-quality products while optimizing efficiency, cost, and performance.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software, operations, and procurement, and play a key role in supplier selection, component evaluation, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and manage the hardware engineering team.
* Oversee the design, prototyping, testing, and production of hardware products.
* Develop and implement hardware strategies that align with business objectives.
* Manage the hardware lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring quality and efficiency.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, operations, and procurement.
* Evaluate and select components, suppliers, and manufacturing partners.
* Monitor budgets, timelines, and resources for hardware projects.
* Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
* Drive continuous improvement in hardware processes and technologies.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
* Minimum 5–7 years of experience in hardware engineering, preferably with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
* Strong knowledge of PCB design, embedded systems, IoT devices, or related hardware technologies.
* Experience with hardware manufacturing, sourcing, and supply chain management.
* Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in CAD tools and hardware testing equipment.
* Fluency in English; French or Dutch is a plus.
* Strategic thinker with problem-solving capabilities.
* Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
