Telecommunications Analog Design Engineer
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Telecommunications Analog Design Engineer to contribute to the development of high-performance analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits for telecommunications applications.
About This Role
* Design and simulate analog and mixed-signal circuits (e.g., ADCs, DACs, amplifiers, bandgap references, LDOs, filters) for telecom system ICs.
* Translate system-level requirements into detailed circuit-level specifications.
* Perform schematic capture, pre- and post-layout simulation, and verification using industry-standard EDA tools.
* Collaborate with layout engineers to ensure layout parasitics meet performance and area targets.
* Participate in design reviews, verification planning, and lab validation of silicon prototypes.
* Perform transistor-level and behavioral modeling as required.
* Interface with system engineers to optimize architecture for performance, power, and noise.
* Support test and characterization teams with debug, performance analysis, and tuning of first-silicon.
Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* 3+ years of hands-on experience in analog/mixed-signal IC design.
* Strong understanding of analog circuit fundamentals (noise, matching, stability, etc.).
* Proficiency with industry-standard EDA tools (Cadence, Mentor, Synopsys, etc.).
* Experience in CMOS technology nodes (e.g., 65nm, 28nm or below).
* Familiarity with lab instrumentation for silicon validation (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.).
* Good documentation and communication skills.
Benefits
* A permanent, full-time employment contract.
* A salary & benefits package commensurate with experience.
