PURPOSE OF THE JOB
* As an EP Service Center Technician, you will ensure the highest quality standards for Abbott's advanced Electrophysiology (EP) products. Your responsibilities include in-house pre-testing and staging of EP products, testing calibrated devices, verifying returned devices for patient data compliance, and coordinating product returns for rework. This role is essential for maintaining product integrity and supporting patient safety across the EMEA region.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Perform in-house pre-testing of EP products according to work instructions and quality standards.
* Execute in-house staging of EP systems prior to shipment or deployment.
* Conduct testing of calibrated devices to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
* Inspect returned devices for patient data compliance and ensure proper handling in line with regulatory requirements.
* Coordinate and support the return of products to manufacturing for rework or refurbishment.
* Document all testing and staging activities accurately and maintain service records.
* Collaborate with technical support and field service teams to resolve issues and optimize workflows.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to continuous quality enhancement.
* Travel up to 10–20% within EMEA for training or special projects.

EDUCATION & COMPETENCIES
* Technical degree or equivalent professional experience.
* Experience with medical devices or healthcare technology preferred.
* Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
* Strong administrative skills for accurate documentation and compliance tracking.
* Proficiency in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
* Computer skills: MS Office required; SAP experience preferred.
* Ability to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced, regulated environment.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
