Mainframe System Automation Specialist
We are looking for a skilled Mainframe System Automation Specialist to join a global team responsible for designing and implementing monitoring and automation solutions for critical enterprise platforms.
This role focuses on ensuring the availability, reliability, and security of key systems across the organisation. You will deliver automation solutions, support production environments, and collaborate with teams across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities
* Administer and support Mainframe System Automation environments
* Design, implement, and enhance monitoring and automation rules
* Deliver automation solutions that meet business needs and global standards
* Collaborate with stakeholders and IT teams globally to understand requirements
* Provide incident support and troubleshooting for IBM Z systems
* Contribute to projects requiring automation expertise and system reliability improvements
Experience:
* Hands-on experience with Mainframe Automation tools (e.g., Broadcom OPS/MVS, IBM SA/NetView)
* Experience with IBM Z / Mainframe environments
* Ability to develop automation scripts using REXX
* Understanding of Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes
* Experience supporting production systems and resolving incidents
