To further strengthen our Legal Advisory – Data Protection, IP & Technology team, we are looking for a Junior Legal Manager who combines strong technical expertise with people leadership and commercial acumen. This role is ideal for a legal professional who wants to take ownership, coach others, and actively contribute to the growth of both clients and colleagues. As a Junior Legal Manager, you act as a trusted advisor to clients and a coach to junior colleagues. You work independently on complex matters while contributing to the development of our practice. Your key responsibilities include: Legal advisory • Advising clients on GDPR matters • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial, IT and GDPR/ data - related contracts • Supporting clients on data protection governance, compliance and audits • Advising on Data Act, AI regulation, copyright and trademark law (strong asset) • Translating legal and regulatory developments into pragmatic, business - oriented solutions People management & coaching • Training, coaching and supervising junior colleagues • Actively following up on their development and performance • Acting as a sparring partner and quality gate for their work • Contributing to a collaborative, learning - oriented team culture Commercial & business development • Identifying (cross - )selling opportunities with clients • Translating commercial opportunities into concrete proposals • Acting as a BDO ambassador towards clients and internally • Building and maintaining strong client relationships with a high sense of ownership You are a driven and responsible legal professional with a strong interest in data, technology and innovation. You combine technical excellence with leadership and a commercial mindset.
