Purpose of the role
As a team member of the Operations department and in close collaboration with the Team Lead to whom you report, you are responsible of the technical and operational follow-up of our wind farms located in Belgium.
Your electrical expertise and knowledge of data communication systems allows you to support the Eneco colleagues with high-voltage handling and connectivity issues related to our new and operational wind farms.
* Operational responsibility for Belgian wind farms;
* Optimising production and turbine availability;
* Applying OT (Operational Technology) and IT skills, in close collaboration with the OT-IT specialist.
You will be responsible for
* You monitor the daily productivity and operational status of wind farms
* You provide technical support to ensure smooth operations
* You advise on process improvements to enhance efficiency
* You coordinate interventions with internal and external teams
* You manage financial, contractual, and administrative follow-up activities
* You maintain strong relationships with landowners and stakeholders
* You analyze and report on performance metrics
* You resolve technical issues related to HV/LV systems and IT connectivity
* You keep your technical knowledge up to date
* You collaborate with the OT-IT specialist to integrate and optimize OT/IT systems
* You resolve contractual issues, including those related to MSAs
What we expect from you
* Master's degree in engineering (electrical, electromechanics, telecom) or equivalent
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
* BA5 and/or GWO certificate (preferred)
* Experience with OT/IT systems, industrial automation, networks, and cybersecurity
* Strong Office & IT skills with an affinity towards data analysis
* Basic understanding of TCP/IP, VLAN, firewalls, …
* Native Flemish or French speaker, preferably trilingual with active knowledge of English
