Automation Engineer – Robotic EOD Systems

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Automation Engineer to work on robotic Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) systems used in high-risk, mission-critical environments. This role combines advanced automation, robotics, and field deployment, with regular international travel to support testing, commissioning, and customer operations.
The Role
Develop, integrate, and maintain automation and control systems for robotic EOD platforms
Support system commissioning, troubleshooting, and upgrades both in-house and on-site worldwide
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to ensure robust system performance
Support factory and field testing, validation, and operator training
Provide technical support during deployments and customer acceptance activities
Your Profile
Background in automation engineering, controls engineering, or robotics
Experience with PLCs, embedded control systems, or robotic automation platforms
Strong understanding of sensors, actuators, and safety-critical systems
Comfortable working in demanding environments and adapting quickly on site
Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis
Strong communication skills and a professional, responsible mindset
