Communicate special needs: Inform relevant departments about VIPs, large groups, and key guests. Upsell services: Lead marketing efforts to promote hotel amenities and offerings. Responsible Business Increase hotel visibility: Work with community groups, advertising agencies, and media to raise the hotel's profile and brand reputation. Promote sustainability: Highlight the hotel's "green" aspects to gain new business. Continuous improvement: Identify and implement improvements in marketing activities and overall sales performance. Team support: Assist with ad-hoc duties as needed. Accountability This is the top sales and marketing job in a large, luxury, resort, or major flagship hotel. Hotel may have multiple sites and facilities, high-volume catering and/or convention facilities, and a large number of VIP and special service guests. May manage a large number of professional level and administrative sales, catering, and/or convention employee. Profiel Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in marketing or related field Four or more years of experience in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting with direct supervisory experience over a sales team Strong knowledge of local businesses and business trends required Must speak local language(s) No 9-5 mentality – be available in the evening and occasionally as well during weekends Willing to travel abroad (to promote IHG) Aanbod 80% reimbursement for public transport or bicycle/mileage allowance with free parking After 6 months: hospitalization and life insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr
