Conversational AI Designer (Agentic Experience Design)

Introduction
For a leading digital innovation project within a major enterprise environment, we’re looking for a Senior Conversational AI Designer. In this role, you will shape how users interact with intelligent, agentic systems that go far beyond traditional chatbots. You’ll help design self-directed, goal-oriented digital agents that support users, automate complex workflows, and deliver seamless enterprise services.
Working closely with UX, data, and development teams, you’ll ensure every conversational experience feels natural, efficient, and human-centered — driving the next evolution of enterprise AI interaction.
Responsibilities
Agentic Experience Design
* Design goal-oriented conversational journeys that enable proactive support, autonomous task completion, and intuitive self-service.
* Build modular, reusable conversational components that adapt to user intent and enterprise processes.
* Define logic for escalation, fallback, and smooth handovers between systems, humans, and AI agents.
AI Integration & Collaboration
* Partner with NLP/NLU engineers to enhance intent recognition, contextual understanding, and response accuracy.
* Prototype and implement conversations using tools like Dialogflow CX, Rasa, Azure Bot Framework, or LangChain.
* Leverage behavioral data, analytics, and feedback to optimize conversation flow and personalization.
Strategy & Governance
* Define tone of voice, personality, and ethical principles for all human-AI interactions.
* Contribute to the development of a unified conversational design system integrated with UX and brand guidelines.
* Measure and optimize conversation success using key engagement and satisfaction metrics.
Experience & Competences
* 3–5 years of experience in conversational design, AI UX, or content design for enterprise environments.
* Proven expertise in agentic automation, prompt engineering, and understanding of GenAI and NLU capabilities.
* Hands-on experience with Dialogflow CX, Rasa, Watson Assistant, Botpress, or custom LLM-based frameworks.
* Strong storytelling and UX writing skills to define bot personality and tone.
* Excellent collaboration skills in Agile, cross-functional teams.
Bonus Skills
* Experience with LLM orchestration, memory design, or multi-agent systems.
* Familiarity with enterprise AI stacks (OpenAI, Azure AI, LangChain, vector databases).
* Background in linguistics, cognitive science, or behavioral design.
