Position Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst – Corporate plays a central role within FN Browning Group’s Finance organization, supporting the Group CFO, Executive Committee, and Business Unit leadership teams with high-quality financial analysis, business case development, and strategic planning.
This function is centralised at Group level and focuses on building robust financial models, evaluating investment opportunities, supporting strategic projects, and strengthening long-term financial planning. With a CFA-type profile and 5–10 years of relevant experience, the Senior Analyst brings analytical leadership to support key decisions across the Group.
Key Responsibilities
Business Case Development & Strategic Projects
Lead the end-to-end development of business cases for new products, industrial investments, R&D projects, partnerships, and CAPEX initiatives.
Assess financial attractiveness through NPV, IRR, payback, scenario analysis, and sensitivity testing.
Partner with Business Units to challenge assumptions, validate market data, and ensure alignment with Group strategy.
Prepare clear and concise deliverables for the Executive Committee.
Financial Modelling & Long-Term Planning
Build robust, dynamic financial models (P&L, balance sheet, cash-flow, valuation).
Contribute to the Group’s strategic plan, long-term financial outlook, and consolidated forecasts.
Analyse revenues, margins, cost structures, working capital, and capital allocation.
Identify value drivers, risks, and performance levers for each business segment.
Corporate Finance & M&A Support
Support screening, valuation, due diligence, and integration planning for potential acquisitions.
Perform DCF valuation, multiples analysis, and precedent transaction benchmarks.
Monitor market and competitive intelligence relevant to the Group’s activities.
Performance Analysis & Executive Support
Prepare executive-level insights for the Group CFO and CEO.
Contribute to Board presentations, investment committees, and strategic reviews.
Support ad-hoc analyses with timely, structured, and reliable insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Engineering, Operations, R&D, Strategy, and Business Units.
Promote best-practice modelling, financial discipline, and data quality across teams.
Required Qualifications
Education
Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Engineering, or related field.
CFA certification (Level II or III strongly preferred).
Experience
5 to 10 years of experience in investment banking, corporate banking, equity research, transaction services, or corporate finance in a multinational group.
Strong experience in financial modelling, valuation, and business case development.
Technical Competencies
Advanced Excel financial modelling skills.
Strong command of valuation and financial statement analysis.
Understanding of capital allocation, ROIC, and risk assessment.
Experience with BI tools and ERP systems. SAP is an asset.
Soft Skills
Strong business acumen and structured problem-solving skills.
Ability to challenge assumptions constructively and influence stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills with executive-ready clarity.
High integrity and ability to manage confidential information.
