As an Oncology Sales Representative you will be responsible for positioning our AZ brands in metastatic lung cancer in the North-West of Belgium. Pro-actively identifying business opportunities, presenting value propositions aligned to stakeholder needs, and recommending solutions to drive and develop business. Job Responsibilities (to include key result areas, specific accountabilities, tasks, etc.)
Build capability and knowledge in the region:
1. Build knowledge about AZ's products in metastatic lung cancer among all relevant stakeholders to ensure they are optimally utilised in line with national/local guidelines and the product license
2. Successfully promote the benefits of AZ's products, using fair and balanced messages and the appropriate mix of promotional tools
3. Act as the field Brand Ambassador working closely with Marketing to input and help design materials/tools tailored to meet regional customer needs
Deliver on plans and achieve sales goals on budget:
4. Take full accountability for the deployment of the identified activities and visits and follow-up of these, making sure that decision makers have all the scientific data needed about approved indications, product efficacy / safety profiles and treatment protocols to support on-label prescribing for appropriate patients
5. Drive sales performance and ensure sales targets meet or exceed expectations while managing budgets
6. Assess sales performance and market trends within the region and determine appropriate actions to enhance performance in close collaboration with National Sales Manager
Create deep stakeholder relationships:
7. Establish and maintain ongoing, long term collaborative relationships with external stakeholders
Cross-functional collaboration:
8. Share stakeholder insight and information within AZ to strengthen relevant activities
9. Collaboratively with the Account Specialist for Early-Lung Cancer develop and execute on account plans
Be Compliant:
10. Report medical queries or eventual adverse events to Medical Team
11. Successfully complete all training requirements, including product examinations
12. Comply with all external regulations and internal policies
13. Ensure compliance with the AZ Code of Conduct, Global/local External Interactions Policy and Standards, and Privacy Policy and Standards
Education, Qualifications and Experience
Essential
14. Master’s degree in scientific field
15. Proven track record of consistently strong sales results and/or secondary care sales experience with a sound knowledge of account management, including relevant experience in oncology
16. Proven demonstration of successful working in complex cross functional teams
17. Able to use IT Tools (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
18. Languages: Fluent French and English
Desirable
19. Experience in launching new pharmaceutical products for specialized diseases
20. Relevant experience in oncology
21. Knowledge of healthcare environment is a plus
22. Knowledge of relevant products and/or relevant therapeutic areas
23. Experience with CRM-tools ( Veeva
