As Account Manager, you are responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of clients within the transport and logistics ecosystem. You ensure profitable growth, strong customer satisfaction, and the implementation of the commercial strategy.
Your key responsibilities include:
Commercial Development
* Deploy and execute the commercial strategy at local level.
* Identify new business opportunities and lead structured prospecting actions.
* Support the definition of commercial objectives together with branch management.
Account Management
* Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic B2B clients.
* Conduct regular client meetings, business reviews, and performance analyses.
* Develop value‑adding action plans tailored to customer needs.
Market Monitoring & Reporting
* Monitor market trends and maintain awareness of the local economic environment.
* Build a strong professional network within the logistics and cold‑chain sector.
* Ensure accurate use of CRM and report on activities, pipeline, and performance.
Operational Collaboration
* Work closely with operational teams to optimize customer solutions.
* Participate in the review and improvement of operational setups for key accounts.
* Ensure commitments, service levels, and profitability targets are met.
As the successful applicant, you have:
* At least a Bachelor degree in Business or related field - or equivalent by experience
* Proven experience in Account Management or Commercial roles, ideally in transport, logistics, supply chain, or B2B services - at least 3 years
* Strong commercial acumen and the ability to build, maintain, and grow long‑term client relationships.
* Excellent communication skills and strong business sensitivity.
* A proactive, autonomous, and analytical mindset.
* Fluency in French, Dutch & English (mandatory).
* Strong command of CRM tools and structured commercial processes.
