Our client, an active player in the pharmaceutical industry, is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join their accounting team.
Maintain accurate financial records by preparing and reviewing accounting transactions
Record financial data in line with BEGAAP standards
Reconcile general ledger and subsidiary accounts; Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports (e.g., Support audits by providing necessary reports and documentation
Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory reporting (e.g., Help improve and maintain the ERP system
Ensure confidentiality and integrity of all financial data
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
~5 to 10 years' experience in accounting
~ Strong knowledge of BEGAAP, IFRS, and general accounting principles
~ Advanced Excel skills
~ Background in financial consolidation and intercompany reporting is a plus
~ Excellent communication skills across teams and regions
~ Fluent in English, with knowledge of French and/or Dutch
