Overview To support an important offshore project for a client in the energy sector we are searching for an experienced QUALITY ENGINEER. Responsibilities We are looking for a Quality Officer, someone who will manage and follow-up all quality related topics within the specific package. The Quality Officer will work closely with the package and is the direct link between Quality Assurance and Quality Control. (S)He will report directly to the Interface & Quality manager. Service expectationsThe Quality Officer Island Package:Reports to the Interface & Quality Manager; Is responsible for the Quality assurance of the Island package. (S)He will be the point of contact for all Quality assurance related issues in the Package scope, internally as well as with the EPC Contractor; Is responsibleto implement and monitor the Project Quality management system and Quality performance (both internal and external), in accordance with the Elia project Quality management plan and Requirements; Shall review and challenge Quality documentation of the EPC Contractor and Subcontractors; Shall play an active role in internal audits and external audits (EPC Contractor and Subcontractor); Shall support Quality Control activities during delivery phase as well as follow-up on non-conformities and Quality risks; Shall encouragethe project team to work according to the processes and procedures of the Project Quality Management Plan; Qualifications Hard and soft skillsRelevant experience with Quality management with a minimum of 5 years is a mustExperience in major offshore, EPCI and/or maritime projects is a plusExperience in major civil works is a plusQuality and technical educational qualifications in the related discipline.o level: technical bachelor/master or equivalent by experienceGood computer and data skills Good project organisation and document management skillsGood communication skillsChallenger and critical mindWorking structured, pro-active and precise.
