To strengthen our Electrophysiology (EP) Education Team, we are recruiting an EP Trainer (EMEA).
About the Role
As an EP Trainer, you will play a key role in training and developing Abbott’s EP field teams across EMEA. You will design and deliver engaging education programs that ensure our field staff are fully prepared to support clinicians using our products and technologies.
This is a highly impactful position suited for someone passionate about EP, clinical excellence, and education — and who enjoys working in a dynamic, international environment.
What You Will Do
1. Design, deliver and update clinical, technical and soft‑skills training for EMEA field staff.
2. Support customer-facing education programs, adapting existing content and helping develop new courses.
3. Maintain and promote a strong clinical culture, incorporating the latest clinical evidence and collaborating with the Clinical team.
4. Work closely with the EP Education Team to define learning objectives for new modules and ensure alignment with global program standards.
5. Ensure Professional Education (Prof Ed) workshop formats are consistent across EMEA and other regions.
6. Maintain expert knowledge of Abbott products, EP therapies, competitors, and market dynamics.
7. Represent Education at congresses and events, supporting Abbott’s Education Village as needed.
8. Manage training timelines and projects with autonomy, ensuring successful execution.
9. Apply your knowledge of clinical practice, device technology, program management and communication to drive training excellence.
10. Perform additional related duties when required.
What You Need
11. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences or equivalent.
12. Minimum 3 years of experience in Electrophysiology, plus progressive experience in clinical education or a related discipline.
13. Strong clinical understanding of EP and EP products, including 3D mapping systems.
14. Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, multicultural, and geographically dispersed environment.
15. Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
16. Fluent in English.
17. Excellent interpersonal and public‑speaking skills.
18. Willingness to travel up to 70% across EMEA.
19. Previous experience in Education & Training is an asset (not mandatory).
