instrumental in setting up and leading multidisciplinary projects

collaborating with clients
to define project scope, deliverables, and constraints, as well as
assembling and managing project teams
while overseeing the technical design. The position also involves
preparing specifications

selecting suppliers, engineering firms, and contractors
, and ensuring the
efficient use of internal and external resources
. Maintaining
client engagement
and
managing change
throughout the project are key aspects of the role.
Key responsibilities
* Define project scope, deliverables, and constraints in collaboration with clients.
* Assemble and lead multidisciplinary project teams.
* Oversee the technical design and ensure alignment with project objectives.
* Prepare specifications and tender documents to support procurement and execution.
* Select and manage suppliers, engineering firms, and contractors.
* Direct and monitor project resources for optimal efficiency.
* Maintain strong client relationships and manage project changes effectively.
* Report project progress and key milestones to stakeholders and management.
What we're looking for
We're seeking a seasoned professional with:
* Minimum 10 years of experience as a Project Manager in industrial projects.
* At least 7 years of experience as a (Project) Engineer in mechanical, electrical, piping, or civil disciplines.
* Proven experience in the process industry.
* Proven experience in the process industry.
* Strong project management skills, including administrative reporting and documentation.
* Initiative and leadership qualities to manage stakeholders and teams effectively.
* Technical knowledge in electromechanics and chemistry is a strong plus.
* Fluency in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
* VCA-Vol certification.
* Willingness to travel internationally for short periods.
