International Procurement Manager – Global Leader in the Energy Sector
The Company:
Our client is a world-renowned player in the energy sector, with operations in over 20 countries and thousands of employees. They design and deliver high-value, low-carbon energy solutions to support the global energy transition.
To strengthen their European operations, they are currently seeking an International Procurement Manager to lead a global team and drive the procurement strategy across large-scale, high-impact projects.
The Role :
Reporting directly to the Global Procurement Director, you will be responsible for leading an international team of 10–15 professionals. Your mission: to define and implement procurement and contracting strategies that support multiple global projects, each with high technical and strategic stakes.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will:
* Drive procurement strategy development and execution across large, complex, and high-value projects
* Lead end-to-end sourcing and contract processes (RFx, negotiation, contract management)
* Optimize procurement performance in terms of cost, quality, and timelines while mitigating project risks using standard tools and processes
* Ensure full compliance with internal and external policies, managing budgets (including FTEs and travel), and delivering regular reporting on procurement activities
Profile:
You are an experienced procurement professional who brings both strategic vision and operational excellence.
You have:
* 10+ years of experience in strategic and project-based procurement, with 5+ years in team leadership across international environments
* A solid track record in technical procurement, contract negotiation, and supplier/quality assurance
* Proven experience managing complex international projects
* Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
