You will operate at the core of a large-scale database ecosystem, working across multiple technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and environments (on-premise, cloud, hybrid).
This is a role for someone who wants to move beyond execution — into technical ownership, decision-making and real impact on platform evolution.
🧠 Your impact
* Lead complex database initiatives: migrations, performance optimization and reliability improvements
* Own high availability and disaster recovery strategies across critical systems
* Act as a technical reference in major incidents, root cause analysis and service evolution
* Define and evolve database architecture standards across heterogeneous environments
* Drive the adoption of new database technologies and reduce legacy dependencies
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (cloud, DevOps, application teams) on design decisions
* Improve observability, automation and operational efficiency across the database landscape
🔍 What we’re looking for
* Solid experience as a Database Engineer / DBA / Database SRE in complex environments
* Strong knowledge in several of the following: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, Neo4j
* Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP) and containerized ecosystems (Docker/Kubernetes)
* Proven background in high availability, disaster recovery and performance tuning
* Experience working in multi-site or distributed environments
* Ability to take ownership in critical situations and communicate with stakeholders
