About the job
APK Group is currently looking for a foreman for road construction. As foreman, you will be responsible for preparing the start-up of a new project based on the site file. You are responsible for the daily coordination, follow-up and adjustment of the team during the realisation of the project.
Some of your duties include:
* You prepare the start-up of a new project based on the site file prepared by the project manager
* You are responsible for the daily coordination, follow-up and adjustment of the team during the realisation of the project
* You consistently apply work regulations and safety requirements
* You plan everything accurately and organise deliveries according to the progress of the works
* You are communicatively strong
* You cooperate with your team
* You are the point of contact for our clients and sometimes local residents as well
* You report the activities in accordance with the works diary
* You hand over the finished site to the person in charge
* You manage the equipment/material
As foreman road construction, you will manage a team of 2 to 5 people.
Your profile
* Check foundations, trenches, lock beds
* Control the supply of supplies, equipment and construction materials
* Plan staff activities and allocate work posts
* Determine the layout and security of the yard and storage areas
* Present the site, planning, construction methods and regulations to those involved
* Planning and organising
* Motivate and inspire people
* Result-oriented teamwork
* Attention to quality
* You have had your first experience as a foreman in roadworks
* VCA certificate or willing to obtain it
* Good knowledge of Dutch
