The CPAS of Forest plays a vital role in fighting poverty and promoting social inclusion. Its modern and evolving IT infrastructure supports day-to-day operations and drives digital transformation.
To strengthen the internal IT team and support key technical initiatives, we're looking for a Senior System Engineer to make an impact in a meaningful public service environment.
Main Responsibilities:
You will be a key technical reference within a small, hands-on IT team. Your work will directly support the modernization and security of the CPAS's infrastructure, as well as major digital projects.
Key tasks include
• Administering and optimizing Windows Server environments (AD, RDS, Certification Authority).
• Managing and evolving virtual infrastructure (VMware ESXi, vCenter) and SAN Storage systems.
• Monitoring and improving backup and disaster recovery with VEEAM.
• Leading technical aspects of the Teams Voice telephony migration project.
• Deploying, securing, and improving services in Microsoft 365: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive.
• Managing endpoints with Intune, Autopilot, and Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT).
• Overseeing and securing LAN/WAN, Firewalls, and VPN infrastructure.
• Collaborating on documentation, process improvements, and technical recommendations.
• Staying up to date with emerging technologies and proposing meaningful improvements.
Requirements:
We are looking for a highly autonomous, pragmatic, and versatile IT professional with proven, hands-on experience across a wide range of technologies. Essential skills and qualifications include advanced administration of Windows Server environments, including Remote Desktop Services (RDS) and Certification Authority.
Strong command of Virtualization platforms, particularly VMware ESXi and vCenter, as well as Microsoft 365 services, such as Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive. Proficiency in managing device deployments with Intune and Autopilot, and in leveraging the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) for streamlined rollouts is also required.
Intermediate-level skills in Teams Voice, VEEAM backup solutions, Docker, MS SQL Server, and SAN infrastructure are necessary. Advanced network knowledge, particularly in managing LAN/WAN setups, Firewalls, and VPN configurations, is also required.
