What You'll Be Doing
* Designing, developing, and maintaining robust data products for both reporting and operational integration
* Collaborating with analysts and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data solutions
* Building integrations with ERP and asset management systems (SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, IBM AS400, IBM Maximo) and Azure cloud services
* Applying industry standards for software-oriented data design, incremental data flows, data modeling, and security
* Analyzing complex data structures to uncover insights and optimize data relationships
* Driving digitalization and championing the adoption of innovative technologies within a SAFe agile product team
What We're Looking For
* Ownership mindset with a passion for solving complex problems and delivering real-world impact
* Proactive, collaborative approach within cross-functional agile (SAFe) teams
* Experience working with ERP and asset management systems (SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, IBM AS400, IBM Maximo)
* Familiarity with SaaS platforms (Power BI, SharePoint) and APIs is a plus
* Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud Data Platform and modern data engineering practices

* PySpark, Python, SQL
* Azure Databricks, Spark Structured Streaming, Delta Change Data Feed
* Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault
* Azure DevOps
* Medallion architecture modeling
* Kimball star modeling, dimensions, and facts
* AS IS source data versioning and history
* Security by Design: Azure Entra ID (Service Principals, Managed Identities), encryption, network security
Language Proficiency
* Dutch: Native or bilingual (mandatory)
* English: Nice to have
Other Requirements
* Freelance position with a 6-month full-time contract
* Hybrid work arrangement in Aartselaar, Belgium
* Experience working in agile (SAFe) environments
