IT System Infrastructure Engineer

* You help design and set up new infrastructure or applications securely.
* You collaborate with applicative IT teams, business users, and service providers to meet business and non-functional requirements, including high availability and security.
* You manage day-to-day applicative issues alongside other teams to maintain secure operations.
* You troubleshoot and provide technical support in conjunction with colleagues and external service providers.
* You handle and follow up on security incidents proactively.
* You document processes and information to aid IT staff and end-users effectively.
* You serve as the link between first and third-level support teams.
What are we looking for?
* You have an
IT background
, through education and/or professional experience of
at least 3 years.
* You bring a
security-first mindset
and apply secure practices in design and operations.
* You have experience working in
mixed internal–external delivery models
, where infrastructure operations are partially outsourced.
* You are comfortable working across a
broad infrastructure landscape
, including Networks (firewalls, switches), Security components (WAF, anti-DDoS, proxies),
SQL Server,
Windows and Linux servers,
Azure cloud infrastructure,
Windows workstations, Mobile devices (Apple iOS)
* You are able to
investigate issues independently
, even when information is incomplete.
* You are able to
produce clear technical documentation in English
.
* You are
fluent in Dutch OR French
, with a good written level of
English
.
