We are seeking to hire a Biostatistician for our Belgian offices (WFH/ hybrid).
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Biostatistician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biostatistics, data analysis and visualization. The candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing complex computational projects, as well as communicating findings to internal and external stakeholders.
You either hold a MSc or PhD degree in the domain of bioscience engineering, bioinformatics, statistical data analysis and 3-5 years of industry experience. You can demonstrate your experience in computational biology via peer-reviewed publications, contributions to public code repositories or relevant project work.
You have in-depth knowledge of Python and R, together with tools for collaborative code development (git).
Bonus: knowledge of JMP, data visualization tools, generative/agentic AI in combination with statistical workflows.You can plan, organize and execute a computational project independently, communicating effectively with stakeholders along every step of the way, being guided by your team lead or program manager.
You enjoy working in a multidisciplinary environment with people of diverse professional backgrounds (IT, (molecular) biology, chemistry, statistics, etc.)
You are fluent in English, both written and verbally
