Account Managers – North & South Belgium (Technical-Commercial Role)
Locations: One position in Flanders (Dutch-speaking), one in Wallonia (French-speaking)
My client, a leader in smart water treatment, is actively seeking two Account Managers to strengthen their commercial team – one for the Flemish region and one for Wallonia.
This is a technical-commercial field role ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, combining client relationship management with on-site technical tasks.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop existing client relationships within your region
* Conduct field service activities, including:
* Water sampling and analysis
* Smart equipment calibration
* Technical checks and reporting
* Act as the first point of contact for clients regarding service quality, system performance, and technical support
* Collaborate with internal teams for client solutions and follow-up
* Spend approx. 50–60% of time in the field; the rest working remotely from home
Profile Requirements
* Degree/experience in Chemical Engineering (Bachelor or Master)
* Solid communication skills in either:
* Dutch + English for Flanders
* French + English for Wallonia
* Strong sense of responsibility, problem-solving, and customer service mindset
* Open to learning: full on-the-job training provided
* Comfortable with both technical field work and client-facing interaction
