We are seeking a dynamic .NET Developer who thrives at the intersection of technology and leadership. In this freelance role, you will combine hands-on .NET development with the responsibilities of a Scrum Master, driving the delivery of robust web applications and microservices for our client. What You'll Be Doing
* Designing, developing, and maintaining .NET-based web applications and microservices in a modern Azure environment
* Leading your development team as Scrum Master: organizing and facilitating backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
* Acting as the primary point of contact for your team, ensuring clarity, alignment, and high-quality deliverables
* Analyzing incidents in collaboration with functional analysts and independently delivering effective solutions
* Writing and maintaining unit tests, documenting your code and analyses, and adhering to best practices and internal IT standards
* Translating complex problems into actionable technical solutions
* Driving knowledge sharing and transfer within your team
* Collaborating closely with developers, service desk, project leads, infrastructure managers, and other stakeholders
* Contributing to accurate estimation and planning of development activities
* Applying change and release management processes rigorously, including executing and monitoring releases
* Championing communication between the development team and analysts, ensuring everyone is aligned and informed
Technical Skills
* Proven experience in .NET application development (minimum 3 years, medior level)
* Strong background in web development using JavaScript and HTML
* Hands-on experience with Angular 2 or higher (minimum 3 years)
* Expertise in Azure Entra ID, Azure Service Bus, Azure API Management, Azure App Services, and Azure Service Fabric (minimum 3 years each)
* Experience with federated authentication (OAuth)
* Proficiency in GitHub Advanced Security
* Unit testing experience (xUnit, Windsor Castle, or NUnit)
* REST and SOAP web services (minimum 2 years each)
* Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence
* YAML configuration management
* CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance with Azure Pipelines
* Relational database knowledge (Oracle, SQL, etc.)
Other Requirements
* Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master (minimum 1 year)
* Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and working in Scrum teams
* Familiarity with ITIL-based process-driven organizations, especially incident, change, and release management
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
* High sense of responsibility, initiative, and precision
* Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member
* Full-time availability for the duration of the project (24 months, with possible extension)
* Freelance contract, time & material basis
Language Proficiency
* Fluent Dutch (CEFR C2 level) is mandatory
Additional Information
* Location: Melle (with flexible remote work options, subject to team lead approval)
* Occasional out-of-hours work may be required for releases
* Assignment: 440 days, full-time, with a 12-month extension option
* Start Date: 25/02/2026 | End Date: 24/02/2028
