Your Position in Our Team As a ploegleider, you act as the right hand of the coordinator and help ensure the smooth daily operation of the production environment. With enthusiasm, you support your team to work efficiently and deliver high-quality results. In this role, you report directly to the coordinator. Your Tasks & Responsibilities You follow up on the daily production planning and the progress of your team across the different production departments. You ensure clear handovers between shifts. When the coordinator is present, you act as team leader within your own department. In the coordinator’s absence, you take on the role of ploegleider and are responsible for the entire team across departments. You support new operators and help them integrate smoothly. You ensure that the daily planning is achieved and make adjustments when needed. You monitor performance on the shop floor and safeguard quality and efficiency. You actively contribute to process and workflow optimisations. You ensure safe working practices and address colleagues when unsafe behaviour occurs. You set clear expectations and daily objectives for your team. You assist in resolving day-to-day operational issues. What Makes You Successful as a ploegleider at Boplan? By closely monitoring planning, you ensure timely and high-quality service for our customers. Your Profile You have solid knowledge of production processes. You have experience in a production environment, either as a CNC machine operator, assembly or in orderpicking & packaging. You are a coach who can support, motivate, monitor, and empower employees. You are flexible, highly solution-oriented, and a strong communicator. You have an entrepreneurial mindset and a hands-on mentality; you step in wherever needed.
