As a Machine Learning Engineer in the robotics industry, you will be responsible for developing and deploying intelligent ML solutions which enhance robotic systems, autonomous decision-making, and industrial automation across environments such as smart manufacturing, warehouse automation, autonomous vehicles, and robotic platforms.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for robotics use cases such as autonomous navigation, object detection, robotic vision, anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, and motion optimization
Build and maintain scalable ML pipelines for training, validation, simulation, and real-time inference in robotic environments
Implement robust data preprocessing, sensor fusion, feature engineering, and transformation workflows tailored to robotics and IoT data
Collaborate with robotics engineers, software engineers, embedded engineers, and data teams to integrate ML solutions into robotic systems
Develop and optimize computer vision and perception systems using technologies such as cameras, LiDAR, radar, and depth sensors
Contribute to MLOps practices including CI/CD, model versioning, reproducibility, monitoring, and observability
Your Profile
2–6+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role
Strong programming skills in Python
Experience with ML/DL frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
Experience building and deploying ML pipelines in production environments
Familiarity with robotics frameworks and tools such as ROS/ROS2, OpenCV, or NVIDIA Isaac is a strong plus
Experience with computer vision, sensor fusion, SLAM, or autonomous systems
Familiarity with data engineering concepts including ETL/ELT workflows, streaming pipelines, and IoT/sensor data processing
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
