Position OverviewPosition Overview: The Enterprise Cloud Architect is responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing an organization's cloud architecture, ensuring it aligns with business strategies and goals. This involves managing solutions, business, and technology architectures, and ensuring their alignment with with long‑term business objectives while enabling agility and innovation. It is a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, working with stakeholders to identify requirements and ensure effective implementation.Key ResponsibilitiesDeveloping and Maintaining Enterprise Architecture: creating and maintaining a comprehensive enterprise cloud architecture that supports the organization’s goals and objectives.Architecture Modeling and Management: defining and maintaining reference architectures and design patterns for cloud adoption across the organization.Strategic Alignment: ensuring that technology solutions align with business strategies and objectives.Collaboration and Communication: working with stakeholders across different departments and levels to understand their needs and communicate architectural decisions.Technology Evaluation and Recommendation: researching and evaluating emerging cloud technologies and their potential impact on the organization, recommending appropriate solutions.Governance and Standards: developing and implementing architectural standards and governance frameworks to ensure consistency and quality.Guiding, supporting and coaching of solution architects: ensuring transfer of knowledge (architectural framework, decisions, …) and supporting/coaching of solution architects.Actively contributing to the community of enterprise architects so that the enterprise architecture becomes more coherent and we can learn more quickly as a group.Required QualificationsMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.A proven track record of 10+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure architecture or other senior technology roles.Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and best practices.Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.)Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skillsExperience in developing and implementing architectural governance processes.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesInsurance
