Validation Engineer – Lab Equipment
In this role, you support the validation and implementation of laboratory equipment within a regulated pharmaceutical environment. You ensure equipment is properly validated, compliant with GMP requirements, and ready for operational use in analytical and microbiological laboratories.
You will collaborate with QC laboratories, quality teams, and external vendors to validate new equipment, maintain documentation, and support investigations when required.
What will you do?
* Prepare and execute validation protocols for lab equipment
* Analyze validation results and write validation reports
* Support the purchase and implementation of new laboratory equipment
* Write requirement specifications and interact with vendors
* Maintain and review documentation (SOPs, change controls, deviations, CAPAs)
* Ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements
* Provide technical expertise in analytical and microbiological testing
* Support investigations and root cause analyses
Who are you?
* Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field
* Minimum 1 year of experience in equipment validation
* Experience with validation protocols, SOPs, and reports
* Knowledge of cGMP requirements
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
* Good communication skills and ability to work in teams
* Fluent in Dutch and English
Nice to have
* Experience with HPLC systems (Waters is a plus)
* Knowledge of USP, Ph. Eur., or JP pharmacopeias
