We are currently managing a new opportunity for a leading international distributor of technical polymers, seeking a Sales Manager / Business Developer to strengthen their presence in Catalonia
Position Summary
The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and managing business opportunities across the region, with a strong focus on engineering plastics (EP) and value-added solutions for industrial clients and processors. The role combines both strategic development and hands-on sales activity, requiring market knowledge, technical credibility, and strong relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new business opportunities across Romania, Hungary, and neighbouring countries
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, converters, and OEMs
* Promote and sell engineering plastic solutions (e.g. PA6, PA66, POM, PC, PBT, ABS, etc.)
* Coordinate with internal technical and customer service teams to ensure client satisfaction
* Conduct market analysis and contribute to strategic planning in the region
* Report sales activity and pipeline using CRM tools
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Based in Catalonia, with a willingness to travel within the region
* Proven experience in sales or business development in the engineering plastics or polymers industry
* Strong knowledge of thermoplastic materials and their applications in industrial sectors
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Fluency in Spanish & English is essential
* Proficient in English for internal communication
* Self-motivated, proactive and results-oriented
