The Executive Director will lead the association, ensuring the achievement of MNI's mission and vision, and will set strategic priorities in collaboration with the Executive Committee. The role involves both external representation—engaging with stakeholders and developing partnerships—and internal coordination to align industry priorities.Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent the Medical Nutrition Industry at authorities, institutions, trade associations, scientific organizations, patient groups, and external stakeholders.Identify issues and develop partnerships impacting the sector.Develop and oversee strategic programs.Manage daily operations, including communication, finances, legal compliance, and a team of three part-time managers.Oversee budget management.Report to the MNI Executive Committee.Required ExperienceExperience engaging with C-level stakeholders.Experience working with scientific societies and key opinion leaders.Advocacy experience at national, European, and international levels.Experience working with regulatory authorities.Leadership experience in organizations or NGOs.Experience in coalition building and familiarity with the medical nutrition industry is an asset.SkillsStrong leadership abilities.Excellent networking and interpersonal skills.Ability to represent the organization externally.Strategic thinking and proactive mindset.Ideal ProfileMaster’s degree, preferably in nutrition, health, EU affairs, or business management.Based in or near Brussels.Genuine interest in nutrition and health, with stakeholder engagement skills.Willingness to travel within Europe and internationally (2-4 days/month).Ability to lead a diverse, international, and multidisciplinary volunteer board.Experience working with private sector members and developing sustainable funding strategies.Strong network and understanding of health policy outside Europe.Proven ability to communicate complex science simply and effectively.Application ProcessDober Partners is managing the recruitment process.
