Job Title: Mechanical Assembly Specialist
About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for performing mechanical assemblies on various equipment, including compressors, pumps, and gearboxes. Your duties will include disassembling, revising, and assembling mechanical components based on technical drawings, utilizing techniques such as fitting, aligning, and determining clearances, and employing specialized tools like bearing pullers, blowtorches, torque wrenches, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
* Actively participate in toolbox meetings and safety instructions.
* Conduct Last Minute Risk Analyses (LMRA) and report incidents.
* SUPport junior technicians through guidance and training.
* Act as a mentor and point of contact for new employees during their onboarding period.
* Supervise the progress and quality of performed tasks.
* Accurately record measurements and status updates in designated systems.
* Report rework and assist in defining and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess a diploma in a technical field, such as Mechanics or Electromechanics. You should also have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the mechanical sector, hold a B-VCA certificate, and possess thorough knowledge of mechanical processes and proficiency in using specialized tools.
