As a finance business partner for one or more market segments, you are responsible for the controlling processes of your segment and play a critical role in driving business decisions by providing accurate and relevant financial information. Your key responsibilities Conduct comprehensive analyses of P&L, ROCE, and risk management for one or more market segments, considering trends and growth potential. Create insightful reports and presentations with clear explanations and actionable insights at an executive level.
Provide support and innovative suggestions to optimize working capital; monitor risks associated with accumulated positions and essential raw materials.
Oversee, develop, and validate the planning process including periodic forecast, annual budget, and strategic plan for your segment down to the EBIT level.
Contribute financially to high-impact strategic projects, such as investment files including CAPEX and M&A.
Collaborate with the Reporting Factory to enhance reporting and analysis tools, ensuring harmonization and one source of truth.
Support the development of the respective market segment(s) by being a strong, value-adding Business Partner.
Facilitate business decisions by providing critical financial information.
Who we are looking for You hold a master’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
You have at least 5 years of experience within finance, preferably as a controller or business partner in a manufacturing, chemical, or industrial environment.
In-depth understanding of financial principles with a proven track record of providing actionable business insights.
Familiarity with SAP and advanced data analysis tools is a plus.
Fluent proficiency in English and Dutch is essential; proficiency in French is a plus.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from financial data to influence business strategies.
Proactive approach and adept communication abilities to convey complex financial concepts to high-level stakeholders.
Experience fostering collaboration across functional teams and with senior management.
