We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic team at Axians Communication Solutions. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Management:
* Ensure the overall management of the project(s) to provide compliant deliveries on time and within allocated budget cost
* Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
* Manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure projects are completed within the approved budget. Conduct risk assessments, develop contingency plans, and monitor risks throughout the project execution.
* Develop and maintain client relationships to understand their needs and drive satisfaction.
* Provide detailed project status ereports to stakeholders, tracking progress and addressing any issues.
* Business Development:
* Develop strategic partnerships and negotiate contracts, particularly for projects requiring high-tech on-board equipments in public transport
* Drawing up commercial proposals tailored to customer needs, carrying out feasibility studies and market analyses to guide strategic decisions
Required Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field
* Minimum 5 years in similar position(s) in a highly complex and normative environment (automotive, railway, aerospace, defense, nuclear)
* Fluency in French, Dutch & English
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure
Preferred Qualifications:
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
* Relevant experience in managing R&D projects for the industry over the complete product lifecycle; i.e. from development stage till commissioning
* Demonstrated experience in market analysis and developing commercial strategies for complex technical solutions
* Ability to negotiate and develop trusting relationships with external partners, particularly in the context of high-level technological projects
* Hands-on experience in quality assurance applied to industry such as automotive, railway, aerospace, defense or nuclear
