ACENSI is looking for a Front-End Developer for one of their client based in Brussels in the energy sector : Role Summary We are hiring a Front‑End–focused engineer who brings prior Back-End experience but wants to spend most of their time on the front‑end. You will partner closely with our Front‑End Lead to design and deliver high‑quality, accessible UI for customer‑facing portals and internal JS applications. When needed, you can dip into API/service design and integrations so the front‑end ships smoothly across our landscape. What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities) Front‑End first - Design & implement front‑end features end‑to‑end in our customer portals and internal JS apps (Vue, TypeScript). - Build and maintain a component library and UX patterns; improve accessibility and performance. - Magnolia CMS integration using Freemarker templating - Write FE tests and contribute to peer reviews. Integration & Full‑Stack (supportive)- Work with REST/SOAP APIs and Kong Gateway. - Support API/service work in Java/Spring Boot when needed. Ways of Working - Contribute in Agile rituals, documentation, and incident follow‑ups. - Help raise FE standards across the team. Your Profile Front‑End (primary)- Strong experience with Vue 3 (or React), TypeScript, SCSS architecture. - Hands-on knowledge of Vite & Vitest - Experience with Magnolia CMS and FreeMarker Templates is highly recommended Back-end (supportive)- Java 21 & Spring Boot 3.X as concrete hands-on experience; Spring Data & Maven is a plus; - Multi-system integration: in our landscape using SAP (WS-Client), Salesforce (OAuth2 + SOQL), Redshift, OpenAPI-generated clients, IBM MQ Engineering Excellence - Testing mindset, CI/CD, clean code, DevOps familiarity. Experience & Education - ~4 years of software development (Front‑End emphasis focus). - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT/Math or equivalent practical experience.
