Job Title: Property Operations Coordinator
Responsibilities include overseeing repairs, maintenance, and asset management for multiple locations.
Job Description
* Coordinating repair and maintenance activities to ensure timely completion of tasks at the expected quality level and cost.
* Managing vendors, evaluating their performance, and leading contract negotiations to secure new suppliers.
* Evaluating innovative solutions to drive efficiency, sustainability, and performance in areas such as energy efficiency, HVAC, cleaning, waste management, and other maintenance topics.
* Leading asset improvement and space optimization projects to enhance operational efficiency.
* Ensuring compliance with security standards and local regulations.
Controlling
* Developing a facilities management plan that balances scheduled and reactive work to meet requirements for stores and properties.
* Responsible for monitoring and following up on cost performance on store level based on actual versus budget, including forecasts.
* Documenting all assets including warranty periods, maintenance contracts, and safety check-ups.
Qualifications
* A good technical understanding of building systems, including HVAC and electrical systems.
* First relevant experience as multi-site facilities manager.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as a team player.
* Ability to plan and prioritize effectively.
* Effective communication skills to interact with people at all levels.
* Flexible, straightforward, and open-minded individual.
* Capacity to find simple and efficient solutions.
* Good knowledge of Excel.
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Fluency in English and French, with Dutch being an asset.
This is a full-time position based in Brussels. The role reports directly to the Construction & Facility Manager France, Belgium & Luxembourg. This is a one-year contract.
