For one of our clients, we are searching for a Freelance ISMS Project Manager to support the design and operationalization of information security controls as part of their ISO 27001 certification journey.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the implementation of their Information Security Management System (ISMS) in line with ISO 27001 and ISO 27002.
* Translate policy documents and topic-specific guidelines into actionable operational measures.
* Serve as a key liaison between the CISO function and operational departments to ensure pragmatic and effective adoption of controls.
* Act as both Project Manager and substantive Project Lead, driving deliverables with a hands-on, results-focused approach.
* Provide expertise in regulatory and standards frameworks such as NIS2 and NIST 800-53.
Your Profile:
* Strong and recent experience with ISO 27001 and especially ISO 27002 implementation.
* In-depth knowledge of complementary frameworks and standards: NIS2, NIST 800-53.
* Demonstrated ability to operationalize security policies in complex environments.
* Proven track record of bridging strategic security governance and operational IT functions.
* Self-organized, hands-on, and pragmatic approach to project delivery.
