Asset Management – Transition Manager (M/F/X)
For one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced Asset Management – Transition Manager to strengthen the ITAM team and support the efficient management of IT assets, as well as ongoing transition and optimization initiatives.
Mission
As a Transition Manager / IT Asset Manager, you will be responsible for the management and enrichment of the CMDB, license compliance, Shadow IT monitoring, and coordination of ITAM transition activities. You will play a key role in process improvement and in establishing a reliable governance framework around IT assets.
Main Responsibilities
Asset & CMDB Management
* Manage, maintain, and update the CMDB
* Enrich data through Intune and Nexthink
* Perform regular cross-checks between inventories and monitoring tools
* Oversee the asset lifecycle and ensure data accuracy
Software Asset Management
* Manage software licenses and related contracts
* Monitor and enforce software compliance
* Detect and manage underused software
* Identify and prevent Shadow IT
Transition Management
* Contribute to the analysis, design, and implementation of ITAM services
* Coordinate with ITSM, procurement, security, and infrastructure teams
* Support governance structuring and continuous improvement initiatives
* Ensure proper documentation, knowledge sharing, and process alignment
Skills & Profile
Technical Skills
* ServiceNow expertise
* Knowledge of Nexthink, Intune, and SNOW
* Good understanding of SAP order management processes
* Proficiency with O365
* ITIL Foundation v4 certification
Experience
* Minimum 5 years of experience in ITAM, Transition, or IT Operations
* Solid understanding of ITSM processes and Asset Management best practices
Languages
* French: C1
* Dutch: B2
* English : B1
Soft Skills
* Strong attention to data quality and accuracy
* Analytical mindset with a focus on optimization
* Excellent communication with both technical and business teams
* Autonomous, proactive, and able to manage transversal projects
