Overview
We are looking for a Medior Full Stack Java Developer to design and build high-quality applications in a complex, security-driven environment. You will work on scalable platforms and digital solutions, contributing to both backend and frontend development in an Agile team.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop Java-based applications from functional requirements
* Build and maintain REST APIs using Spring Boot and related frameworks
* Develop user-friendly frontend applications using Angular
* Ensure code quality through testing, documentation, and security checks (OWASP, Sonar)
* Contribute to Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and microservices
* Collaborate in Agile teams and support continuous improvement
* Share knowledge and mentor junior developers
Requirements
* Minimum 4 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer
* Strong experience with Java (Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate)
* Experience with Angular (2+) and modern frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
* Solid knowledge of REST APIs and SQL (SQL Server)
* Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments (GCP is a plus)
* Understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented principles
Languages
* Dutch or French (fluent)
* Basic knowledge of the second national language
* English (professional proficiency)
Work Setup
* Location: Brussels (hybrid – 2 days on-site, 3 days remote)
* Contract: Full-time (May 2026 – December 2026, extension possible)
