Position Overview
Senior Finance Manager – Controllership, Brazil. Supports regional finance operations, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards, and driving strategic financial initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee the execution of strategic financial projects aligned with company goals.
* Manage a significant area within the finance function, ensuring operational excellence.
* Provide strategic guidance to team members, fostering collaboration and high performance.
* Engage independently with external auditors and cross-functional stakeholders.
* Drive operational process improvements and automation initiatives for accurate financial reporting.
* Serve as the technical voice of the team on GAAP, trends, and new ideas.
* Ensure clear communication and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Promote inclusion and diversity in leadership and meetings.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification required.
* Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in accounting and finance, preferably multinational.
* Strong knowledge of Brazilian GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations.
* Proven track record of financial process improvements and automation.
* Experience with implementing a Shared Center is desired.
* Proficiency with financial analysis software and ERP systems preferred.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English; Spanish a plus.
* Experience in tech or entertainment industry desirable but not essential.
