Our client is quite ambitious in bridging the gap between research and the real need for new technologies in industrial companies. To achieve this, our Client defines projects to help production companies with their technological Industry challenges. The results of these projects are typically a POC or a MVP that demonstrates that a certain technology works. In this regard, here we are actively looking for a Project Leader and given below is the job description_
Description of the assignment:
The project leader will, based on their expertise in business analysis for web development, select a Digital Marketplace solution and oversee its technical implementation. This Digital Marketplace aims to showcase the Client's results to the industry by making limited test versions interactively available.
More specifically, the project leader will:
Conduct functional and technical requirements analysis, including by consulting internal and external stakeholders (i.e. owners of the results and future users), as well as leveraging their own knowledge of app and web development
Consider and evaluate possible options based on the established requirements
Choose the final solution
Oversee the technical implementation of the chosen platform
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (results owners, IoT platform team)
Gather feedback from future users (i.e. industry partners)
Develop a follow-up plan
Minimum requirements for the project leader:
Master’s or PhD in Engineering or Computer Science
Experience in web development as a lead developer, project lead, or business analyst
A clear motivation and strong interest from the candidate in the proposed assignment
Hands-on mindset with a focus on a robust (future-oriented) result
Experience in dealing with stakeholders
Pleasant to work with in collaboration with colleagues
Business fluency in Dutch and English
Ideal starting date, would be no later than 1 September 2025. In other words, candidates who can only start later are not eligible for the award of this assignment.
This assignment has a duration of 4-5 months, can be extended once for a period of 12 months, upon explicit written request from the Client, under the same conditions as for the initial period.
