Maintenance Technician Packaging (Beerse) (full-time position or 4/5 working shifts (Early/Late).)
Responsibilities of maintenance technician include:
* You are responsible for performing maintenance activities on process and/or packaging installations (predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance, and calibrations)
* In collaboration with the maintenance engineer, you optimize preventive maintenance and calibration work instructions
* Through structural analysis, and your technical skills, you resolve production or quality issues with the necessary technical interventions
* As part of continuous improvement and efficiency improvements, you are able to coordinate minor changes to automation systems (settings, PLC programs, camera image recognition, serialization system, etc.), maintain the necessary backups, and are responsible for change management
* You are up to date on technological developments within your field and receive the necessary support to do so. You receive a work planning by the Maintenance Lead and support the production environment for all technical aspects. You'll work closely with production coaches and operators, reliability engineers, the Qualification & Validation group and the Quality department
Required Qualifications:
* You have broad general technical and practical knowledge of electricity/automation, mechanics, and pneumatics and can therefore easily read drawings of process and packaging installations
* You have at least a basic knowledge of safety circuits, measurement and control systems, PLCs, and drives and are willing to deepen your knowledge
* You have a strong interest in digital and electronic applications, such as image recognition systems, networks, maintenance packages, etc., and are eager to use and support these applications
* You are not intimidated by the administrative tasks required in a pharmaceutical environment
* You have very broad interests and are driven to continuously learn throughout your career to be versatile in different technologies and departments
* You easily develop reliable and high-quality solutions, complying with all safety, health, and environmental requirements, both individually and as part of a team
* While all documentation and trainings are in Dutch, it is required to be fluent in Dutch. A basic technical knowledge of English if preferred too
